Dear Friend of Old State Saloon...
Here’s the letter we wrote and can be found in our menu book at Old State Saloon.
Dear Friend,
It’s a common expectation that when you enter a bar, you leave your religion and politics at the door. Not here. We invite you and your friends (no matter who you are) to bring your ideas and an open mind, ready to respectfully engage in meaningful conversation… or not. This is also a place where you can relax and listen to live music, drink a hot coffee and daydream out the window, or create some music of your own sitting at our imported German piano.

Our mission at Old State Saloon is to provide elevated spaces, events, food and drinks, and service to our community — all for the glory of God. We are constitutional conservatives looking for ways to help first our local, then regional and national communities in finding a safe return to those morals that were once held so tightly by the American people. We believe we can revive that culture by meeting together, especially in a venue like our saloon.
We strive to serve food and beverages that model our beliefs. Our food is the cleanest in the Treasure Valley: organic when possible, without all the preservatives, corn syrup, hormones, dyes, seed oils, and other poisons that are weakening our country, distributed via the wicked national supply chain. Additionally, we seek local partners and vendors with like-minded ownership and fresh, wholesome ingredients.
Our events include Bible Study, Worship Nights, Comedy Shows, Dueling Pianos, Theme Nights, Braveritas Presentation Tuesdays, Karaoke, Open Carry Coffee, Political Meet & Greets, Town Hall Meetings, Documentaries, and you might even walk away with an AR-15 prize on one of our legendary and hilarious Trivia Nights. We celebrate Heterosexual Awesomeness Month in June, Awesome Patriot Month in July, and Red Pill Month in August, with more to come — join our mailing list to stay updated about upcoming events.
Our “Heterosexual Awesomeness” made international news this past June. We’ve become a destination for many visitors from around the country and the world. Just like it’s okay to say we want to celebrate God’s design for sexuality, we also welcome all walks of life to join us at Old State Saloon.
Someone recently asked if Mark was worried whether the community would support the idea of this different type of local watering hole. He responded, “I wouldn’t want to own a bar unless it was just like Old State Saloon.”
We are thankful you are here and hope you get to experience the vision of Old State that our team has worked so tirelessly to provide.
May God bless you and yours,
Mark and Sarah Fitzpatrick
Mark & Sarah,
Given the unsettled times we're living in today, planting a flag like you've done and standing against the tide takes faith and courage, both are on display at OSS! I am proud to be one of many highly satisfied patrons of your fine establishment.
